This year's Megacon was a small kind of delight. I got the pride of debuting the first two costumes I've made on my own. Getting to see friends from my Orlando high school that I haven't seen for at least 5 years, and my best friends who live in Orlando now always makes the trip worth it.

The feeling that it was Con time came late for me this time around. Usually I am packed two weeks in advance but I didn't pack until two days before I left for Orlando. I spent thursday night in the hotel with a few fellow members of Bonzai Anime even Friday didn't quite feel like I was there.  But once Saturday came, I had Stan Lee and his Police escorts pass me in the hall, had a large red troll romantically devour my hand xD, saw the single most epic KISS cosplayers I've ever witnessed. Saturday also brought my Code Geass group with Zero Requiem. They've become a second family to me. We had a lovely picnic and photoshoot.

Sunday brought a day of supporting my friends in their cosplay group. The day itself didn't go the way I had expected to, but the addition of a gentleman's company did lift my spirits when I began to feel melancholy, but I can always count on him for that.

This year may not have been the best Megacon, but all things considered I enjoyed myself
